CNC RETROFIT
As an Integrator with over 30 years of experience in the machine tool industry, we believe that to properly retrofit a machine tool with a new CNC system, the application, and specific customer requirements must first be considered.
By carefully evaluating the specific needs of each application, we develop comprehensive turn-key retrofit solutions that leave our customers with little to do when it comes to retrofitting their machines.
DRIVE REPLACEMENT
Many older machines have AC & DC motors on spindles, machine drive shafts, and material handling systems. We have a drive replacements for those applications where the old drive system has failed or is affecting up-time. This gives our customers the ability to reduce the cost of total replacement. In cases where a new motor is needed; we can provide a solution.
PLC UPGRADES

MOTION CONTROL
Traditionally, CNC has been the control of choice for machine tool applications. However, general motion control (GMC) can be used in many machine tool applications to simplify the overall machine and reduce costs.
The increase of GMC in the machine tool industry is due in large part to the availability of new fieldbuses such as EtherCat. These fieldbuses allow for simple PLC programs to send commands to and from drives in order to set position or velocity profiles for the machine tool.
